Women's 40+ A Team
The women’s team played in a friendly tournament at Frimley Lodge Park in Surrey on Sunday 5th September.
They began with an outstanding 9-0 win against Spurs, followed up with a 1-1 draw against Arsenal before their only defeat of the day. 0-2 against Saints.
Next up was Fleet, who held on to draw 1-1, with the same score line was repeated against Bracknell.
Manager Lisa Faulkner was disappointed as “the games were there to be won and we let ourselves down”.
It is thought the result against Spurs is the highest by any OU walking FC team, men’s or women’s since the club was formed in 2017.
